At Vastu Home Decor, we believe in full transparency. These policies have been written in plain language — no legal jargon — so you always know exactly where you stand.
Orders may be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of placement. After 24 hours, standard (in-stock) orders may be cancelled with a 5% processing fee. Custom-printed orders (bespoke dimensions) cannot be cancelled once production has begun (typically 48 hours after order confirmation), as these are made specifically for you.
We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for standard (non-customised) products in original, unused condition with original packaging intact. To initiate a return, email hello@vastuhomedecore.in with your order number and reason. We will arrange a free pickup if the return is due to a product defect or incorrect item. For change-of-mind returns, a 10% restocking fee applies and return shipping charges are borne by the customer.
The following cannot be returned or exchanged: Custom-printed wallpapers made to your specific dimensions. Fabric cut to order (more than 3 metres). Sample swatches. Products that have been installed, cut or altered. Products without original packaging.
Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. UPI/bank transfer refunds typically reflect within 1–2 business days. Credit/debit card refunds may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank. We will confirm your refund by email once processed.
Wallpapers carry a 2-year manufacturer warranty against print defects, fading beyond normal levels and paper degradation. Fabrics carry a 1-year warranty. To make a warranty claim, email us with photos of the defect and your order details. We will replace the affected product free of charge if the claim is valid.
If you receive a defective or incorrect product, we will replace it free of charge or issue a full refund — your choice. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. We do not require you to return the defective product for claims of this nature.
