- Pre-wash once to allow for natural linen shrinkage (3–4%)
- Measure drop from rod to floor; add 25 cm for hem and heading
- Cut straight along grain
- Sew header tape or eyelet heading at top
- Hang and let fabric settle for 48 hours before final hem
- Steam lightly from the reverse to set the drape
